I dunno, until this update there were no weaponized boats. I can think of at least two or three missions that these would come in handy for. The Vehicle source mission where you have to take them off boats, crate source mission out to sea and the Casino Heist mission Vault Explosives.
Still waiting for them to release police cars for people who like to rp in gta
