The trailer for the new GTA Online update titled Agents of Sabotage released on Wednesday and eagle-eyed fans spotted a reference to GTA Vice City. This sent some fans into speculating if this is a GTA 6 connection in any way.
The first trailer for GTA 6 released 1 year ago today and since then Rockstar Games have remained silent. They did not announce and even mention the Fall 2025 release window; it was done by their parent company. The extreme drought has caused many theories and speculation to grow especially in the past few weeks. That said, there was nothing concrete from Rockstar themselves.
That has since changed to an extent. They are just about to launch GTA Online Agents of Sabotage so a short trailer and artwork was published on social media to show off what the DLC is about. Every frame of anything Rockstar Games make is overly analysed by fans. This time, something actually from Vice City can be seen.
Content creator TGG shared in a Tweet that Rockstar Games have put the same statue that are the “Hidden Packages” from GTA Vice City in the key art for Agents of Sabotage. If you look at the images below, it is clear these are the same design. In GTA Vice City, 100 of these green and yellow Tiki statues can be found across the map. Collecting them gives the player $100 and weapons or vehicles every 10 collected.

Furthermore, Twitter account CGH spotted the Tiki in the trailer itself. This shows it will be in GTA Online and not just part of the artwork. The statue is on the desk the player appears will have access to as part of this update. A total of 5 statues including the one seen in Vice City are on the desk. Given there are 5, this means at least 5 new missions will be part of this update. These are likely trophies unlocked upon completion of each mission.

In other GTA 6 news, it won an award last week before it has even been released. Plus, the game was discussed by a boxer who Rockstar Games just sponsored.
