According to an extremely reliable insider, they have a friend who has played GTA 6 who told them what they think of it and it is what we all expect: it’s a great game. It is extremely rare we report on any sort of GTA 6 rumours or leaks due to the fact that almost all of them have no sort of credibility. That said, this one is a little different.
For quite some time now, a user on Twitter known as Cryptic HD QUALITY (@Cryptic4KQual) has been frequently correct when it comes to leaking contents, runtime and dates of various pieces of media. These include new film trailer descriptions, the lengths of episodes for shows such as Star Wars and more. They have a great track record of being correct.
Stepping out into game leaks, especially GTA 6, is a huge risk. Coming up with fake stories will damage reputations. If Cryptic was not so sure, I doubt they would have said anything. They are an account to keep an eye on given their clean reputation.
Of Course It’s Great!
Now for what Cryptic HD QUALITY said and did. Early on Tuesday morning, the account Tweeted: When my buddy tells me he’s played GTAVI recently but he won’t give me any details other than “it’s a really great game”.
Of course, this does not give anything away. We’re all in agreement GTA VI will probably an incredible game. That said, it raises an interesting question. Why was this person able to play it? It does not sound like a tester at Rockstar Games for example. They had the ability to play the game though.
As with anything GTA 6 related, the Tweet quickly blew up. In response, Cryptic deleted his Tweet. GTA 6 or GTA and Rockstar in general is not something this person has really ever Tweeted about so perhaps that did not think their Tweet would break their film/TV circles and make its way to GTA fans. Also, it might blow their “buddy’s” cover. The game is the most anticipated game of all time and just won a game award so all eyes are on it.
What’s More?
Similarly, Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said nice things about the game in a recent interview. The big boss of Rockstar’s parent company said the game will be worth the wait despite us entering 2025 without anything since 2023.
Meanwhile reputable reporter Jason Schreier said he would be shocked if GTA 6 releases in 2025. We’ll be waiting with nerves on if GTA 6 does end up getting delayed to 2026.
