We’re still a year or so away from GTA 6 releasing but Rockstar Games just won a second award for the game. The Game Awards is the largest gaming awards event held every year to celebrate video games.
All of the categories focus on games and related content released in 2024. However, there is an award looking forward to the future: the Most Anticipated Game award. Last year’s winner was Final Fantasy VII Rebirth but now GTA VI has the title.
Rockstar’s latest entry in the Grand Theft Auto series beat out other games that have a big communities and excitment around them. The list included Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, Ghost of YΕtei, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, and Monster Hunter Wilds. Even though these games are going to be popular, nothing will come close to GTA VI.
GTA V was arguably the most anticipated game of all time but GTA 6 is certainly that now on a whole new level. Just by general feeling amongst gamers and Rockstar’s parent company saying it themselves, the release is shaping up to be the biggest of all time.
Another Victory
It was just a few weeks ago that Rockstar Games won the “Most Wanted” award in the Golden Joystick Awards 2024 for GTA VI. That means the game has won 2 prestigious awards already. This awards show is voted for by purely by fans. The Rockstar employee who accepted the award on behalf of the company said the game was “Absolutely mind-blowing “. When Will GTA 6 Release?
