A Rockstar Games developer working on GTA 6 has had their say on the wild theories and speculation taking place. Over the past few weeks, there has been a significant increase in theories when Rockstar will release the second trailer for GTA 6.
It has now been a year since Rockstar last talked about the game in anyway and that was the first trailer. The silence since then has certainly caused some fans to start connecting dots that don’t exist. Others in the community have wondered what Rockstar Games developers think to all of this. There have been posts of “Rockstar are laughing at us” on social media for the past few months.
We finally have a thought from one of those developers. One fan asked a Production Coordinator at the company if they laugh at the “ridiculous theories” they see about GTA 6. Ash, the developer, said “I try my best to stay off GTA reddit and Twitter but every once in a while I get sent something from a friend and get a good laugh out of a post”.
So there you have it. They do enjoy seeing the community create up the most absurd theories possible in hope they come true. The fans are more eager for that second trailer than the first it seems!
It is rare we get to hear from the artists at work on GTA 6. It’s the most anticipated game of all time and Rockstar Games’ company culture of secrecy makes any talk difficult. The most recent case of a Rockstar dev talking out in public about GTA 6 was last month when the game won an award already.
