Today, one of the biggest leaks in gaming history occurred on the internet, with over 90 videos of Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay leaking to the public.
A few locations were also leaked in the videos, with the main one being Vice City, once again confirming the game is set in Vice city. All these locations found could be placeholder names and could change between now and the release of GTA 6.
In the leaks, on a Police patrol car, the trunk says V.C.P.D. Which is the Vice City Police Department with the side of the doors using the location ‘Port Gellhorn.’ This could be a Port town within Vice City.
Some more locations were featured on a road sign above a highway. On Route 97 going Northbound there was North Beaches and Lake Leonida. A Monument Of Leonida is also mentioned in a video. Then on the turn off from the highway there was two more locations, Washington Beach which was a neighbour town featured in GTA Vice City and then also on the sign was Ekanfinaka.
On another clip, there is a community centre for the neighbourhood of Rockridge, One of the clips also shows world events and locations, with Port Gellhorn being mentioned again along with another location called Hamlet which is mentioned 3 times for different vehicle races.
Ocean Beach, which is featured in GTA Vice City is also mentioned in one of the leaked menus along with South Beach.
In the leaked menu, it also names one of the forests in the game, called Red Hill Forest. Finally one of the clips has a road sign, saying Yorktown. Along with another location which isn’t very clear but looks like it says Bocamar Bridge. This name is yet to be confirmed. The sign does suggest both Yorktown and the Bridge are located in the north
