90 Videos of GTA 6 leaked online, Source code also leaked

Yes you read the title correctly, Someone has leaked multiple prebuild gameplay footage and development footage of Grand Theft Auto VI on GTA Forums. They are, supposedly the same person who hacked uber recently

In total there are 90 videos of the ‘unconfirmed footage.’ Showing everything from the map, the characters, cars and weapons. All footage is prebuild so most assets are reused from GTAV, which is normal in development stages.

Update @ 1530 – Take-Two starts sending out take down requests

Take – Two Interactive, have started to send out copyright and takedown notices for the leaked GTA VI videos posted online

Update @ 14:30 – footage confirmed as real

Jason Schreier, a reporter for Bloomberg and one of the most reliable sources within the gaming industry has confirmed all 90 videos as real. Jason says ‘I’ve confirmed with Rockstar sources that this weekend’s massive Grand Theft Auto VI leak is indeed real. The footage is early and unfinished, of course. This is one of the biggest leaks in video game history and a nightmare for Rockstar Games‘

We would also advise people not to post videos / images on social media, because if they are real, Take-Two will take your families home off you.

We have been told the videos were taken from Slack, which is the employees communications app. The Game Physics appear to be very similar to Red Dead Redemption 2, which again, if real, will be completely different in the final build. The Debug UI shown in the videos is also the same that was shown when Red Dead Redemption 2 was leaked many years ago.

The video below, shows two NPCS having a conversation about Jay Norris being dead, Jay Norris was the CEO of Life Invader in GTAV before being killed by Michael. This confirms GTA VI is set after 2013

It was also pointed out, in some of the videos the Rockstar Internal development software was shown off, which is near impossible to fake, the videos also showed us a male and female main protagonist, which was leaked a few months ago. The clips also shown some game mechanics, from driving cars, shooting a weapon, using boats and jumping. The clips also show that crouching could be making a return from GTA IV. On a Police Car is also says V.C.P.D for Vice City Police Department, with the police force being part of ‘Port Gellhorn.’ A possible location in GTA 6. For legal reasons and because we cant afford to pay Take-Two lawyers we cant post videos or pictures directly on the site, so we will only be posting tweets from other people. UPDATE 1: Since the clips surfaced online, the leaker has now published a load of source code for Grand Theft Auto VI. Overall, if true, this could cause the game to be delayed even longer.

UPDATE 2: Video game journalist Jason Schreier who previously leaked the game’s setting and more has stated he spoke to sources inside Rockstar Games and they confirmed all of the video leaks are real.

Once again, all these videos are not confirmed to be real and could be entirely fake. We would also advise people not to post them on social media, because if they are real, Take-Two will take your families home off you.
