Coffee Stain North, the studio behind Goat Simulator 3 may have got themselves into some legal trouble with Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games after releasing a social media advert with some GTA 6 gameplay shown in it.
The gameplay was originally leaked back in September, where over 90 videos were released to the public by a teenage hacker. Take-Two quickly removed tens of thousands of these videos that went viral on Twitter, Tiktok and YouTube.
However two days ago, the social media team for Goat Simulator thought it would be a good idea to release an advert that showed a clip of the leaked gameplay. Only two seconds of the AD was GTA 6 gameplay, but that’s enough to piss Take-Two Interactive off.
The Goat Simulator video is focusing on a Famous None Playable character (NPC) called Shaun. Who is very clumsy. Although Shaun mentions in the clip he is in more upcoming projects, which is when it shows the leaked footage of ‘supposed’ main protagonist in GTA 6 robbing a Diner and you can see another NPC in the distance that looks like Shaun.
The video is no longer available to view on the Goat Simulator account, but can be found by random accounts reporting it. It is very surprising how this advertisement passed the Coffee Stain North Legal Department and it will be interesting to see if Take-Two Interactive do take anymore action against them.
