The self-proclaimed “Florida Joker” has given up suing Rockstar Games over the GTA 6 trailer and claims he’s behind the “hype”.
Since the record-shattering GTA VI trailer released, the man legally named Lawrence Sullivan went viral for threatening Rockstar. Mr Sullivan released several TikTok videos escalating his demands.
This included request for money into the millions of dollars and even wanting to free the teen hacker who leaked GTA VI gameplay in an attempt to get into Rockstar again.
This was done in response to a character that has some similar features to him in the GTA VI trailer. Plus, the Florida Joker claimed he was “getting harassed” and gave GTA VI “free publicity” like anything Rockstar had seen before.
Florida Joker finally decides not to sue

During the past few months, Lawrence Sullivan has given Rockstar several “final warning” threats to pay him or he would be launching a legal battle. Well, the Joker has now ended his pursuit, for the most part.
In a new TikTok video, Sullivan appears from behind some branches and says “GTA, Rockstar, Take-Two. We’ve gotta talk. I’m not suing ya’ll no more”. Case closed then, right?
I’m making the game more relevant. People want to play it. I’m the reason why that game is so hype right now.
The Florida Joker

The Florida Joker continues saying “ya’ll still out your god damn nuggets” and says they have not reached out to him at all. He also puts up a new demand of $50,000 or $100,000. This is down from $10 million he previously requested.
Plus, he wants to voice the character that resembles him in the game. On top of all that, he wants to do meet and greets at comic cons, sign and take pictures with fans.
The man ends the video by claiming he made GTA VI more relevant and people want to play it. Many GTA fans would contest this. This is hopefully the end to this saga.
