In what many GTA fans are calling harassment, a TikTok video has appeared showing a man following a Rockstar Games employee and asking them about GTA 6.
Whilst there have been some support for this deranged behaviour in the comments of this video, the GTA community have decided to band together and denounce such actions. This situation has raised concerns over the safety of games developers once again.
What Took Place
The video which was uploaded earlier this week features two instances of the man going up behind Rockstar Games employees. He then asks them about GTA 6, the next trailer and if it will be delayed again. Neither gave any information, obviously.
The TikToker can be seen waiting outside Rockstar North’s office building in Edinburgh, Scotland late at night. The second employee appears visibly uncomfortable when being followed from behind and asked several questions by the TikToker.

The video spread from TikTok to other social media platforms such as Twitter. This is where the GTA community shared the same sentiment: this is terrible. Fans are also telling others to not share the name of the TikTok account that originally posted the video to avoid giving them further notoriety.
The TikToker in question that filmed the video travelled all the way from the USA to Scotland. The user typically posts AI-generated images and talks about sports on their profile. They have posted other GTA 6 content that is designed to “ragebait” GTA fans in the past with what sounds like AI-generated scripts and misleading video footage.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time certain individuals have created bad situations for developers of games. So much so, prolific developers have had to hire bodyguards in the past. An ex-Rockstar Games employee revealed drones were flying around one of the offices during GTA V’s development. They believed they were looking through the windows so blinds had to be shut.
