Developers that were fired by Rockstar Games last week have protested outside of the main GTA 6 development studio once again. This time, we have photos, videos and showing crowds of people supporting those who lost their jobs last Thursday. GTA 6 developer Rockstar Games have released a statement addressing the firings that according one week ago. This came a few hours before a protest took place outside of Take-Two’s London office (Rockstar’s parent company). Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier received a statement from Rockstar late on Wednesday which accuses the some 30-40 employees of leaking information. Former employees that were reportedly fired by Rockstar Games last week staged protests outside the main development office on Monday and Tuesday according to reports. The Edinburgh Minute say “former staff have protested outside” the Rockstar North which is located at Barclay House, Edinburgh. A local resident shared their account of what they saw taking place outside Rockstar North’s office on Reddit. They claim that when walking past the Barclay House building occupied by Rockstar on Monday and Tuesday, “a small crowd” were displaying banners. Rockstar Games have just put an advert for GTA+ on the GTA 6 PlayStation Store listing. This has led to many fans speculating Trailer 3’s release is imminent and pre-orders will be opening soon. It has been announced Rockstar Games are sponsoring the New Years Day Triathlon. This will be the 30th year of the event and the fifth consecutive year the studio behind Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption and more are credited as being the title sponsor. SAG-AFTRA, the union that represents nearly 200,000 actors, musicians and more have released a statement in response to a recent news story involving Rockstar Games. Many of those who perform in Rockstar Games titles, including GTA 6, are part of SAG-AFTRA. Last week, it was alleged by the Independent Workers’ Union of Great Britain (IWGB) that Rockstar had fired around 40 developers from their UK and Canadian offices for an attempt to organise a union.
