A significant amount of gamers are reportedly going to purchase GTA VI. That’s according to Circana’s PlayerPulse research, nearly 1-in-3 people in United States, plan to buy Grand Theft Auto VI. On a mathematical rate its equal to 29%, that is the highest rate in gaming history.
Circana’s video game industry analyst Mat Piscatella describes the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI as a rare milestone for the vido game industry. People are waiting 13 years for this franchise’s next game. This is a kind of waiting that is very rarely encountered.
The date of game’s launch is the time of pre-holiday season. Because of this, experts expect GTA VI to boost sales of consoles, accessories, and online subscriptions, not just the game itself. Mat Piscatella also added: “Many consumers who have yet to upgrade to a current-generation console may choose to purchase a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series specifically to play the title.”
This kind of anticipation for next Grand Theft Auto game is also coming from success of franchise’s latest game Grand Theft Auto V. This legendary title remains among the top 20 best-selling video games in United States for 13 consecutive years, from 2013 to 2025. It is not finished here, Grand Theft Auto V is also ranked third in total active users on PlayStation and Xbox ecosystems in 2025. This success is looks like a trailer of Grand Theft Auto VI’s future accomplishment.
