On Xbox Series X|S, pre-loading begins globally on Tuesday, November 10 at 12 a.m. GMT. For those purchasing the physical edition, Code-in-box versions will be available from retailers beginning November 12 for both consoles.
Install Size Confirmed
Rockstar Games also officially confirmed the game’s size on consoles. -A week ago it was leaked by PlaystationSize and remained unconfirmed until today- If you are interested in downloading Grand Theft Auto VI, you will need 212 GB of storage space on your console. This huge size is nearly twice as large as Red Dead Redemption 2. This feels like a sign of the vast, boundless world that awaits us. Discovering Leonida on November 19th is going to be incredible!
Release Date Time
Rockstar Games have also confirmed just exactly when the game will officially release worldwide. Last many fans had hope it would be a simultaneous global release, Rockstar are sticking to the typical plan of launching at midnight local time. That means New Zealand will get the game many hours before most of the world.
Map Coming
Rockstar also share that on November 19 they will be adding an official printable Grand Theft Auto VI cover art poster and map of Leonida as a free digital download to the official site.
A double-sided physical version of this poster will also be made available shortly after launch from the Rockstar Store. It will cost $0.99 on its own or as a free gift with any purchase from the Rockstar Store.
