You’ll Be Able to Race, Duel and Much More in Red Dead Online

We’ve got some more leaks for you regarding Red Dead Online, and this time it involves game modes and some social options with other players.

We already know that Properties, Adversary Modes, a “Seamless PvE” mode and Vehicles will be coming to Red Dead Online – but we’ve also discovered references to races, deathmatches, duelling, and much more. Let’s get into it.

The first half of this leak is from Fireboyd78 – not us, so credit to him.

These parameters are from Red Dead Redemption 2’s inputs:

    INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_INFO_PLAYERS,     INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_DEAD_SWITCH_RESPAWN,     INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_DEAD_INFORM_LAW,     INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_DEAD_RESPAWN,     INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_DEAD_DUEL,     INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_DEAD_PARLEY,     INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_DEAD_FEUD,     INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_DEAD_LEADER_FEUD,     INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_RACE_RESPAWN,     INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_PREDATOR_ABILITY,     INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_SPECTATE_PLAYER_NEXT,     INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_SPECTATE_PLAYER_PREV,     INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_SPECTATE_HIDE_HUD,     INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_SPECTATE_PLAYER_OPTIONS,     INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_LEADERBOARD_SCROLL_HUD

These input parameters directly references “MULTIPLAYER” which practically confirms they’ll be making an appearance in Red Dead Online this November. The most interesting of these are Respawn, Inform Law, Duel, Parley, Feud and Leader Feud. Predator Ability is also something to take note of.

It seems we’ll have the following options upon getting killed by another player, similar to Grand Theft Auto 5’s 1 on 1 deathmatch and so on:

    Respawn
    Inform Law
    Duel
    Parley

Thankfully, here is confirmation that we’ll be able to Duel with other players online. YES! But also, we have alternatives of dealing with the player apparently. Inform Law is a very interesting one, indeed.

Predator Ability is quite hard to guess what it entails, but we can assume it’s regarding animals in the wild. We already know they are in Red Dead Online due to the trophies of the game.

Butchered – Sell 20 items to the Butcher.

We also know that the intro cutscene to Red Dead Online will involve a prison breakout. Due to this similarity to GTA Online, I’m gonna assume character creation will be a feature in Red Dead Online as opposed to Red Dead Redemption’s set character list.

Now, the rest of these leaks are from us – and we’ve discovered some mission types, including confirmation of races.

Grand Theft Auto Online’s mission types are as follows:

    • Mission
    • Deathmatch
    • Race
    • Survival
    • Capture
    • Last Team Standing
    • Parachuting

However, we’ve discovered Red Dead Online’s current list of mission types. This list is not final.

    • Mission
    • Deathmatch
    • Race

Take what you will, but Racing is a long wanted and expected feature for Horses. We’ll have to see how it works, now that Red Dead Redemption 2 has brought more movement skills to the animals such as drifting.

Stay tuned to RockstarINTEL for the latest Rockstar Games news, leaks, rumors and more.
