Rockstar Games added a new shotgun in The Cayo Perico Heist update back in 2020. This weapon, the Combat Shotgun, has only been possible to unlock by finding it in various locations around Juan Strickler’s estate during The Cayo Perico Heist. You’d have to pick-up the gun then go to Ammu-Nation to buy it. Its price to purchase is $295,000. The good news though is there is now another way for less.
New Gun Van brings presents
In a recent GTA Online event week as part of the Los Santos Drug Wars, a new feature has been added to the world of GTA Online. The Gun Van is a roaming armoury selling a variety of weapons at a discount. You can find more details on the Gun Van here. The Gun Van contents event week commencing January 12th includes the Combat Shotgun as a purchasable weapon.
You do not need to have picked up the Combat Shotgun from The Cayo Perico Heist for it to show up in the Gun Van. You will also notice the Combat Shotgun comes with a 10% discount compared to the price offered at Ammu-Nation locations. The price via the Gun Van is $250,749, down from $295,000. Rockstar have also confirmed that GTA+ members will get an exclusive 50% discount on the Combat Shotgun according to their Newswire blog post.
