Rockstar Games have started a new promotion for GTA Online to boost player’s bank accounts before the Mansions update releases next month. Mansions are expected to be extremely expensive given Rockstar are doing promotions such as this new one and a way to save $3m on mansions which we’ve shared here.
First spotted by community member Tez2, Rockstar are offering a “Special Offer” 40% bonus on select GTA Online Shark Cards. This means if you purchase a Megalodon, Whale, or Great White Shark Card by 11:59 pm ET on January 7th 2026, you will be given 40% extra of its value for no extra price. Below are the base Shark Card values and their 40% bonus values:
- Great White Shark Card: $1,500,000 > $2,100,000 (600k Free)
- Whale Shark Card: $4,250,000 > $5,950,000 (600k Free)
- Megalodon Shark Card: $10,000,000 > $14,000,000 (4m Free)
How To Claim This Offer
To take advantage of this offer, you must claim it on the GTA Online page on Rockstar Games’ website. Once you’ve got it open, you’ll see a section saying “Get 40% Bonus GTA$ on Qualifying Shark Cards” and a CLAIM NOW button as seen in the screenshot below. You need to have claimed this by 11:59 pm ET on December 7th 2025.
Clicking it will ask you to sign in if you are not already and then you’ll see the screen below that shows your accounts and that you have successfully claimed the offer. It also states you have until 11:59 pm ET on January 7th 2026 to purchase a Shark Card that will get the 40% bonus. You are limited to 1 Shark Card, the first one you buy once claimed, receiving this offer.

This is not the first time Rockstar have done Shark Card offers in GTA Online. Back in March this year, they gave anyone who was a returning player to GTA Online and purchased a Shark Card afterwards some bonus cash.
