Rockstar Games to call up GTA Online fans and give them in-game money

Rockstar Games will be calling up fans of GTA Online for feedback and giving them free in-game money. From time to time, Rockstar send out surveys via emails to players. They do this to gain feedback on various parts of GTA Online. However, a surprising and different type of email was just sent out to select players of the game.

Received by Reddit user u/viauser, a “Player Discussions” email talks about how Rockstar are committed to “improving the player experience” in GTA Online. One of the ways they want to achieve that is by hosting one-on-one calls with players.

These such calls are in limited numbers and have only been sent out to “selected players” that “have been identified as a potential candidate for these discussions.” The call will involve the GTA Online player sharing their thoughts on GTA Online for a maximum of 1 hour.

Rewards will be given for completing both a survey with a few questions and an online conversation. Completing the survey will net the user GTA$250,000 in-game. Following the call, the fan will receive GTA$2,000,000 for their GTA Online account. This is a real world value of about $15.

It will be interesting to see how often Rockstar Games do these one-on-one calls with players and how they might impact the future of GTAO. This could not just influence how the current iteration goes but also the next instalment with GTA VI. Typically, these sort of feedback calls are done under NDA so don’t expect those who participate to share details.

Have you received an email about this opportunity? Be sure to let us know down in the comments section below. If you have not received an email, fear not. You can still submit feedback directly to Rockstar Games on their website here.

Lol! 2mil in game money? Here’s enough to buy a 1/4 of a vehicle… or 2 pairs of shoes in game… not worth my time. Can make more than that in that time playing the game. And like another said, They don’t gaf what we want or suggest in game.
