Rockstar Games are looking to further their collaboration with Discord based on some newly discovered information.
Over the past year or so, Rockstar have launched their own Discord server, offered rewards for watching the GTA 6 trailer, implemented integration of the platform to their games and more. Now the company are taking it up a step based on what some community members have spotted.
The first bit additional Discord collaboration with Rockstar began a few days ago. Twitter user @DerSkater08 spotted we can now link our Discord accounts to our Rockstar Games accounts from the Rockstar website.
Rewards Incoming
Since then, the community member has spotted some changes made to the Rockstar Discord server. The company have created three new channel today that feature details about Discord account linking.
The first message in the #account-linking channel reads “Server members who connect their Discord account can be eligible for special rewards and more tuned for announcements.” The second channel, #account-linking-how-to and features a guide on how link your Rockstar and Discord accounts.
The third and final channel is more interesting. The channel name is called #discord-rewards and is currently unpublished. Given we’re getting a new GTA Online update next week, it seems like we could get these Discord rewards with that update.
What could it be? It could range from in-game cash to Discord items such as profile picture banners and more. We’ve seen Rockstar give out such rewards before via Discord and Twitch. As and when these rewards are confirmed, we’ll be covering it.
It will be interesting to see how Rockstar and Discord move forward with these rewards. Plus, this could just be a taste of what to expect from connections around GTA 6’s launch.

🥱🥱 won’t make up for the constant delays on a game y’all just started working on but tryna play it off like it was gonna release early 2026 🤣. I stopped caring once it was 2020, 7 years with no news, I’m good. They over milked GTA V to oblivion like ok since updates may even be good but it’s not GTA 6, at this point there are a lot of people who don’t care, some people probably want to still get the game but it won’t be the first thing they’re going to get anymore like it was prior to the delays. This crazy how gave me studios or nothing but delays anymore from games like State of Decay 3, to games like The Division 3 which we have no word on meanwhile the studios are making a bunch of trash other games that nobody asks for (Goofisoft) making a avatar game Then a 2D Prince of Persia game that nobody asked for & not to mention other games 🥱 So glad I stopped caring years ago because I would have been frustrated like I was what State of Decay until I stopped caring about that game too.
