Red Dead Redemption looks to be getting a physical PS5 copy in the near future. That’s according to a retailer leaking the product. This will be a good way for fans who want the best Red Dead Redemption experience on console without the need to buy the PS4 version and get a free PS5 upgrade (which has been tricky for some users).
As spotted by viciados, Spanish retailer Wakkap has accidentally published a store listing for a physical copy of the first Red Dead Redemption game on PS5. The listing claims this physical release will go on sale on Thursday May 7th; just three weeks away. It will also cost €32.90. Fans should not expect to see the classic map of New Austin and beyond. The PS4 physical release did not include a map.
Much like its digital counterparts, it will come complete with the Undead Nightmare expansion and Game of the Year Edition content. There will be no online multiplayer mode either.

This is the first we’ve heard about physical copies of the game coming for PS5 players. At the time of writing, Rockstar Games have not acknowledged the leak. If there is any official and additional information that comes from Rockstar, we’ll be sure to let you know.
This comes a few months after the game was re-released on PS5 in a new coat of paint. The native port contained some improvements. This includes 60FPS at up to 4K resolution and HDR. Plus, graphical fidelity is in-line with the PC versions highest settings which is a touch better than the PS4 version.
Red Dead Redemption is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, iOS, Android and Netflix. Since launch, the mobile versions have gained a few updates to improve the game and it has surpassed 10 million downloads.
