For a while now, many of us gamers have been assuming that Red Dead Redemption 2 would be 4k resolution on the Xbox One X and the PlayStation 4 Pro. Recently Rockstar Games Released the Gameplay Video Trailer which was captured from ‘In-game footage’ all in 4k.
Well, both Sony and Microsoft have confirmed that the game will be 4K on their latest consoles, the Xbox one X, and the PS4 Pro. PlayStation has confirmed it on their youtube channel and on the PlayStation blog. Its also been confirmed by USgamer who spoke with Rockstar.
If you head over to the Microsoft Store. They have also confirmed that Red Dead Redemption2 will be Xbox One Enhanced, with 4K Ultra HD and HDR.
We’re pretty excited and we’re glad to see Rockstar taking advantage of the extra power they have with the newest consoles from Microsoft and Sony.
Red Dead Redemption 2 releases worldwide on October 26th.
