GTA V graphics mod, NaturalVision Evolved, got a new update to kick off the new year. It has been half a year since the fan favourite mod got its last major update but now it has gained some new features and improvements.
For those unaware, this mod makes GTA V look even more realistic compared to the base game from 2013. In 2025, the mod gained several major upgrades throughout the year. It was the biggest year yet for the mod yet and now the team are straight back to it for 2026.
Much like previous updates, Razed who leads development team behind the mod shared a new post on their Patreon detailing the December 2025 update on New Year’s Eve. The mod is now compatible with the A Safehouse in the Hills update. There is an accompanying trailer showing off the majority of the latest NaturalVision additions. We’ll be taking a look at all the update additions below across both Enhanced and Evolved.
December 2025 Update Features
Volumetric Clouds

NaturalVision Enhanced for GTA V Enhanced now has volumetric clouds. These were previous added to NaturalVision Evolved and will be in GTA 6. There is an “experimental” add-on for the Cloudy weather variant. Improvements to this feature will be coming in future updates says Razed.
Speaking of weather types, improvements have been made to directional light colours in the Extrasunny, Clear and Cloudy weather.
Rain Improvements

Several changes have been made to rainfall in both versions. The weather and particles have improved in Enhanced but Evolved now has rain drops falling on vehicles and weapons. This will be coming to NaturalVision Enhanced at a later date and expect to see window wipers also gain proper support for this. Raindrops on the camera will also move with travel velocity when using vehicles.
Screen-space Reflections

Far more realistic reflections using the screen-space method has been added to puddles. This feature can be toggled on or off from within the ReShade menu. Fog within rain and thunder weather can now be turned off in the same way.
NaturalVision Lite
Made for those who want performance but keep much of the NaturalVision look in tact, NaturalVision Lite has arrived. This version of the mod runs on both single player and FiveM. The focus is to reduce the performance hit from the full NaturalVision but maintain the same great look with improved lighting and no need for ReShade.
Christmas Content Pack
