Popular GTA RP server NoPixel V is finally about to be released and this time on the Rockstar Games Launcher. We have details on the release date, screenshots and more.
Last September, nopixel studios announced that development on the fifth iteration of the GTA RP server was underway. They also mentioned that this version was being built in collaboration with Rockstar themselves. Rockstar later acknowledged they would be supporting the nopixel team dev team on their ambitions.
Furthermore, it was also confirmed that the FiveM-based server would be coming to more PC platforms including the Rockstar Games Launcher. News has been quite light aside from an update a couple of months ago. Now the nopixel team have shared a release date on their Twitter account. Nopixel V will launch on Tuesday September 8th. That’s a year after it was announced.

Ahead of the server going live on that day, the team have prepared a launch trailer. This video will go live at 5pm BST on Tuesday September 1st so a week before. The trailer will be on the nopixel website. Currently a countdown timer is in place of the video. So far, nopixel studios have confirmed a general list of features on their site:
- Built for the Next Generation of GTA Roleplay.
- Whether by land, sea, or air, there are new ways to get around
- New locations feel alive with richly detailed interiors
- A refreshed city filled with new depth and activity
- Graphical enhancements focused on player immersion

It will be interesting to see how this is handled. Nopixel requires you to be added to a whitelist to play. An application has to be filled out and it can take several weeks to be given the greenlight. Applicants may not even get a approved. On top of that, approved users have to wait in a queue which could take a long time. Donations are also taken to have your application viewed by staff.
