A brand new GTA Online matchmaking tool has been created by a fan to help players complete jobs and earn rewards with ease. We’ll be showing you what it can provide and how to use it. This is Heist.Host.
Here at RockstarINTEL we love shining the spotlight on community created projects. The Rockstar Games community consistently come up with new and exciting works. This is yet another unique offering. When we were contacted by David who explained his Heist.Host project, we had to spread the word.
What Is Heist.Host?

Heist.Host is a free web-based tool that simply lets you squad up to do all kinds of GTA Online jobs and removing the frustration of randomised matchmaking in-game. For example, want a group for The Criminal Mastermind Challenge? It has its own matchmaking pool.
The service supports all platforms not just PC. Xbox and PlayStation players can use this to join lobbies too. There’s also support for 7 languages for the website’s content.
How Does It Work?
You log into Heist.Host with a Discord account. The platform uses Discord’s API with the bare minimum permissions necessary to function. After you have logged into in with Discord, you must type in your Rockstar Games account name given all matchmaking is done through Rockstar’s side. You don’t sign into your account just give your username.

Once inputted correctly, you can start searching for players. You will have the option to customise your matchmaking search by platform, 13 languages and age such as 18+.
Now you can select any GTA Online job that need a minimum of 2 players to start. You can scroll the list, type into a search bar or use filters. Each job can be “followed” giving you notifications in your browser, Discord or Telegram when players active sessions that meet your search criteria.

Clicking the play button on the job page will attempt to put you into a free space within an existing session. If there are no available slots, a new session will be made. This will then send notifications out to those who have followed that job/matchmaking sessions.
Joining the heist.host crew on the Rockstar Games platform will easily allow for invites to be sent. Meanwhile the Discord server is used for communication.

A full, in-depth guide has been provided by the platform as a Steam community guide here.
