Details on new GTA Online missions involving the upcoming mansions have been found within the game files. A well-known dataminer has managed to share a general idea of what to expect in the run-up to what could be the final GTA Online DLC.
We’ve known since this summer’s GTA Online update, Money Fronts, that Rockstar Games are planning to finally allow players to purchase expensive luxury homes in Los Santos. We also found out Rockstar would have in-game events leading up to the mansions release involving their construction and more. That was thanks to dataminers such as @Lucas7yoshi_RS who have since managed to delve deeper into GTA V’s files and get more information.
New Missions And Rewards
According to the dataminer, Rockstar will release 3 teaser missions “soon”. For the past few years, Rockstar Games have released a new GTA Online content update in December and given plenty of mansion content is in the files already, most people expect them to arrive in an update just before Christmas this year.
Completing these 3 missions will unlock a discount for players. Given the cost of current properties and other vehicles in GTA Online…many are bracing themselves for the mansions to cost an eye-watering amount of cash. Any discount will be appreciated by players to help bring down the extraordinary price tag we will likely see.
In-Game Teasers
There will also be 2 teasers found on the GTA Online map. These will be construction sites showing the mansions being built. The locations are at the lookout point in West Vinewood near Madrazo’s mansion and the point overlooking the Vinewood Bowl in East Vinewood. These teaser missions and in-world events will setup the story surrounding the newly purchasable properties. Speaking of which, a character seen briefly leaving Mr Faber’s jet in the Hands On Car Wash intro cutscene could also be a big part of the new content. Her name is Valentina and datamining suggests she is involved with real estate perhaps an employee of Prix Luxury Real Estate which is a new company handling these mansions.
