A couple of new details on how mansions will work in GTA Online have leaked. Rockstar Games themselves are responsible for this leak and fans are eagerly awaiting mansions being purchasable in the game. It might have taken 12 years but by the end of this year, you will be able to own your very own luxury property in Los Santos.
Reputable Rockstar insider and dataminer Tez2 took to Twitter on Wednesday to reveal current features of the mansions in GTA Online. He found leftover notes in scripts relating to the mansions in GTA Online.
The dataminer says that the mansions will be similar to the Casino Penthouse in terms of functionality. You’ll be able to host parties and put in arcade cabinets. What else you’ll be able to do in mansions remains to be seen. Meanwhile on the GTA Forums, Tez said he does not know how many arcade cabinet slots there will be but his best guess is 10.
Tez stresses what he is sharing is not final and is subject to change. Afterall, the winter updates typically release in December so we are half a year away yet from GTA Online’s mansion update. For now though, this bit of info is interesting.
Mansions Event And Update
In case you missed it or want a recap, we reported back in June how mansions were datamined inside the Money Fronts update. Prix Luxury Real Estate, a new business, will be selling new mansion properties to players. (We have a vectorised logo of the new company on our site here.)
This will likely come as part of what might be the final GTA Online update this winter. Before that though, Rockstar Games will be teasing the building of mansions with a construction event that was spotted by @HeySlickThatsMe in the game files.
It is unclear when Rockstar will begin this event in-game. Two locations are set to feature feature construction props. You can see what it would look like in-game in the image above.

One of the many reasons they facilitated in the theft….ahem..I meannn purchase and transfer of FiveM/cfx
With the influx of new stuff tool do online in los Santos I am hoping that they add the GTA 6 map to the current one. My thinking is that it be set up to purchase the same way story mode and online we’re done on the newer consoles so those who either or both. It would be sad if Rockstar did their cash cow in, in favor of a new map.

If everyone stopped playing GTA 5 they’d have no choice but to release GTA 6
