Rockstar Games have just released a new look at GTA 6. Alongside the GTA 6 cover art reveal and pre-order date confirmation, Rockstar Games have provided fans with just snippet of in-game footage. This is the first piece of new gameplay seen since Trailer 2 last May.
The new glimpse at the game is a scrollable element found on the company’s website. The GTA VI mini-site has received a number of changed to its layout and content. The refresh came alongside the big news of the cover art and pre-order date.
With the new clip not being able to be viewed in full screen or paused like a regular video, we decided to show the gameplay footage on our site for you to enjoy and take a deeper look at. You can view the video below.
Footage Details
The video runs at 4K resolution and 30FPS. This is the same frame rate as what we expect the game to run at on Xbox Series X|S and PS5/PS5 Pro.
The video shows an aerial shot of Vice City, Leondia at sunset. There are lots of things to take away from this 8 second clip. A total of 7 aircraft can be seen in the sky meanwhile parallax interiors are confirmed.

Where GTA V used static textures for windows, a parallax effect can be seen on the buildings in this clip giving a 3D effect as if the rooms behind the windows were real. This is a technique found in video games this generation and not exclusively new for GTA VI. That said, it really makes GTA VI look better than GTA V.
2When an easy score lands Jason and Lucia in a conspiracy stretching across the entire state of Leonida, the young criminal couple find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America – forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”
