Rockstar Games have revealed the cover art for GTA 6 and a date for when pre-orders will begin. It has been an extremely long journey for fans to get to this point but Rockstar Games have officially given us a new look at the game and some information about their next blockbuster title. We’ve gone over a year without news but now summer is almost here, the marketing for the game is beginning.
Grand Theft Auto VI Cover Art
In a Tweet on Thursday, Rockstar Games released a video revealing the game’s cover art and pre-order date.
The GTA VI cover art shows various characters and vehicles placed in the traditional Grand Theft Auto cover style. Jason and Lucia take the centre top frame. A square version can be found below.
A new paragraph relating to the story was also released by Rockstar:
“When an easy score lands Jason and Lucia in a conspiracy stretching across the entire state of Leonida, the young criminal couple find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America – forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”
Pre-Order Date
As for when gamers can place pre-orders for the game, the company say they will open pre-orders on Thursday June 25th. That is just one week away.
GTA VI will be able to be pre-ordered from the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store plus all retailers that sells games. The game is launching with both a digital and physical copy on a disc meaning you can visit stores in person to pick up GTA VI on launch day. No price has been confirmed just yet. Fans can wish list the game on Xbox and PlayStation via the platform specific stores ahead of the pre-order phase next week.
