The hacker behind the seismic GTA 6 gameplay leak has spoken out from his prison cell. He comes with a bombshell: The GTA 6 source code is out there and he is surprised it has not leaked yet. There’s also a key court date coming up very soon as this story continues to develop.
We’ve not heard much from Arion Kurtaj since he was sentenced in late 2023. He was found guilty by jury on multiple different charges such as fraud. This led to him being sentenced to “an indefinite hospital order” until doctors would deem him no longer a danger to himself or others. The judge handed out this sentence due to his violent attacks in police custody and determination to reoffend.
However, Mr Kurtaj was been granted release from hospital and placed in prison at some point. Over the past couple of days, screenshots of Telegram conversations that were had with Kurtaj began circulating within online communities with claims of how relaxed his conditions have been and making £700 a month via benefits.

Photos via a Snapchat account using his name have also appeared. They show the prisoner inside his cell. He also added text over a selfie saying he’s awaiting trial for some “bullsh*t hacking charge”. Another selfie had text over his face saying “Phone about to be seizedi think will get another soon inshallah”.
More GTA 6 Leaks To Come?
One of the late conversations shows Kurtaj speaking with someone called Omar. Below is their exchange relating to the GTA 6 leaks and source code:

The Omar from these screenshots has begun posting more screenshots of the conversation and revealing more info on Twitter. Omar claims there are multiple people who have the GTA VI source code. Despite this, they are gatekeeping it because they want Rockstar to release GTA 6 first before offering it up for grabs. This collective are also those that leaked the GTA V source code on Christmas Day 2023.

You might be wondering how on earth is Kurtaj sending these messages and taking these photos from inside a prison cell. Well, Omar claims his phone was smuggled in by friends via drone complete with charger. Kurtaj also claims that communication is allowed with a Nokia burner phone.
Upcoming Court Hearing
The imprisoned fraudster has communicated when he will next be seen in court. Kurtaj said that the Secretary of State for Justice David Lammy decided to send him back. He states his next court hearing will take place on April 2nd 2026 at Southwark Crown Court in London. A request to have supporters attend was put out by the man himself. So we only have to wait a few weeks before we get an update on his situation. Stay tuned to this ongoing event.
