Rockstar Games are celebrating over 25 years of the Grand Theft Auto series by bringing iconic outfits of some protagonists into GTA Online.
As part of the latest GTA Online update titled San Andreas Mercenaries, Rockstar have added Michael’s, Franklin’s, Trevor’s, Claude’s and Niko’s default outfits for your very own GTA Online character. We’ll be sharing how you can unlock each of these for your own GTA Online wardrobe.
The system used to earn this outfits is the new tiers progression introduced in the San Andreas Mercenaries update. We covered how it works in detail here.
In short, various parts of GTA Online such as missions and heists have challenges attached to them. These challenges are part of up to 4 tiers. If you complete an amount of tier 4s in the game, you’ll gain these special protagonist outfits.
Michael De Santa
To unlock Michael’s “The Mr. Slick” outfit, you need to complete tier 4 in 5 areas of Career Progress.
Franklin Clinton
To unlock Franklin’s “The Hustler” outfit, you need to complete tier 4 in 10 areas of Career Progress.
Trevor Phillips
To unlock Trevor’s “The Unbathed” outfit, you need to complete tier 4 in 15 areas of Career Progress.
Claude
To unlock Claude’s “The Silent” outfit, you need to complete tier 4 in 20 areas of Career Progress.
Niko Bellic
To unlock Niko’s “The Hired Gun” outfit, you need to complete tier 4 in 25 areas of Career Progress.
As this Career Progress feature is only available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, it means PS4, Xbox One and PC players can’t unlock these oufits. For more details on the tiers and rewards, check out our article on the new Career Progress feature.
