In GTA Online this week, there are two rare license plates up for grabs. We’ll be showing you how to get them. GTA Online’s current Event Week (running from July 3rd through 9th) features two Salvage Yard Robberies complete with a great discount on cars and rare license plates.
Each week, Rockstar Games rotate the Salvage Yard Robbery missions with three options plus the vehicles you need to grab. Sometimes, you are able to claim a vehicle that is part of a Salvage Yard Robbery. They occasionally will come with special license plates.
Salvage Yard Robberies This Week
Here’s a quick list all of the available robberies and the cars featured in them this week:
- The Gangbanger Robbery: Bravado Buffalo
- The McTony Robbery: Declasse Drift Yosemite with Las Venturas vanity plate
- The Duggan Robbery: Karin Boor with Liberty City vanity plate
What Are The Plates?
Fans of GTA VI, GTA III and GTA San Andreas will be very pleased to know they can now ride around Los Santos with a Liberty City or Las Venturas plate. These iconic locations in the GTA series are beloved by fans. Any sort of reference is appreciated these days.
The Liberty City plate has the text “Liberty City” and “State of Liberty” on it along with the skyline. Meanwhile the Las Venturas plate has mountains at the top with “Las Venturas” text at the bottom.
How To Get The Plates
If you do The Duggan Robbery, you’ll be able to claim the car part of that job. The car for this job this week is the Karin Boor featuring the Liberty City plate. It usually costs $1,280,000 from Southern San Andreas Super Autos.
Meanwhile doing The McTony Robbery lets you claim the car paired with that job. The car for this job this week is the Declasse Drift Yosemite featuring the Liberty City plate. It usually costs $1,308,000 from Southern San Andreas Super Autos. The trade price is $981,000.
However, by doing these robberies you can make them your personal vehicles for $20,000 each. This is a significantly reduced fee. You can then sell the cars to LS Customs for $65k each if you wish to do so.
On top of that, there is a way to halve the price even more. If you own a Document Forgery office, you’ll pay just $10,000 per car. The business does not need to be active to unlock the 10k price, just simply purchased.
