Update: Shawn Fonteno releases Trailer
Just a few moments ago, Shawn Fonteno who is the Motion Capture Actor for Franklin Clinton has released a new Trailer for his Roleplay server called Franklins World. You can sign up now via the Discord.

A brand new GTA roleplay server has been teased by Franklin Clinton himself, Shawn Fonteno.
The man behind the iconic character’s voice and motion capture is getting involved in the GTA RP by launching his own server. Mr Fonteno tweeted “Teaser” along with video.
The clip shows a green Declasse Voodoo Custom with the number plate FRANKLIN and some green smoke driven by Franklin. Text flashes in front of it saying Shawn Presents. Next, we get a shot of Franklin laying down on his bed and text reading “The official GTA RP server for Shawn Fonteno” comes on screen. You can watch the teaser for yourself below.
Mr Fonteno also shared the video to his Instagram page.

Shawn’s announcement comes days after Rockstar Games purchased the team behind FiveM, the modding platform many GTA RP servers use. Whilst the timing might seem like it means something, it is likely pure coincidence.
This is not the first time celebrities have opened their own GTA RP servers. Rapper Lil Durk had one before it was shut down due to NFT and loot box purchases being part of the experience. Rockstar Games updated their policy last year to combat such operations. We do expect Shawn’s GTA RP server to be compliant with Rockstar’s policy so they don’t have to awkwardly shut it down.
