GTA RP server Nopixel has released a teaser video for a major update coming to the service. The server’s community have been eagerly awaiting the next chapter and we now have an official video showing off some of what it will contain.
What’s coming?
Posted to the Nopixel Twitter account, a 39 second video reveals a list of new content. The first line reads 100 new lore vehicles. This is followed up by new vehicle handling for Nopixel’s breadth of motors. There will also be 300 new vehicle sounds according to the teaser to go with this.
After the list of content, cinematic shots of a car chase taking place on Vinewood Boulevard ensues. The police car is a Pfister Comet S2 and the fleeing car is a Declasse Voodoo. This scene gives us a glimpse of the cars, sounds and handling in action.
The police car chase ends with an aerial shot looking down on Vinewood Boulevard and a huge array of cars lined up.
The video is also available to view on YouTube in 4K resolution. The video is titled nopixel teaser 1 suggesting more teasers for other parts of the update will be coming in the near future. Stay tuned to RockstarINTEL for when more teasers drop and reveal new information.
XQC claims it will be “bonkers”
Part owner of Nopixel and streamer Félix “XQC” Lengyel shared his thoughts on the upcoming updates in a recent stream. XQC said “I really care about Nopixel as a server, where it’s going, the vision… I told you guys it would be f***ing bonkers! I’m telling you, it’s going to be insane. And hopefully next update, which is somewhat soon will be absolutely ridiculous. No leaks! I’m not going to say anything. It should be a benchmark…”
It was just a few days ago Rockstar Games purchased the team behind FiveM, which Nopixel uses. It will be interesting to see how Rockstar go forward with the GTA RP community now they own the FiveM platform.
