GTA Online Success
As for GTA Online and GTA+, the game just keeps on growing. Thanks to the recent update titled The Kortz Center Heist, the game is continuing to “exceed expectations” set by Take-Two according to the CEO on the earnings call. It was also said that “We’re very pleased with how things are going. Rockstar’s updates are always well received. The updates always reactivate players.”
Recurring spending in GTA Online grew by 3%. More money is being spent by players in GTA Online. On top of that, GTA+ is “thriving” in terms of member sign-ups. When asked if Rockstar have to invest a lot of resources into GTA Online still, Zelnick said yes, Rockstar do. The plan is to continue to do that.
