GTA IV Update restores all the original songs on Xbox One

Just a few days ago, Grand Theft Auto IV received an update on the Xbox One. The update was 6.9GB. Pretty big update for an old game. Anyways our friends GTA Series revealed that the update was to add all the original songs that were removed last year.

This could be unintentional, but yesterday's update to GTA IV on Xbox One has restored the songs removed by Rockstar Games back in April 2018 (removed because licenses for those songs expired on the game's 10-year anniversary) pic.twitter.com/BXcAxTjA44

When the game turned 10 years old in April 2018, we received an update on GTA IV, an update we’d rather have not received. It disabled quite a few songs out of the game due to licenses expiring. The songs are now back in the game and GTA Series reckons it was an oversight by Microsoft.
