The GTA 6 trailer has been scheduled by Rockstar Games on their official YouTube channel and this reveals the length of the video. The company announced the trailer via a Tweet on Twitter (currently known as X).
Titled “Watch Trailer 1: Tuesday, December 5 at 9AM ET”, the video is a YouTube Premiere set for 2pm GMT, 9am ET, 6am PT. The thumbnail features the exact same artwork Rockstar Games revealed last week.
Within the first hour since it was scheduled, the trailer has gained 200,000 likes on YouTube.
How long is the GTA 6 trailer?
YouTube Premieres are a video that can’t be skipped and everyone watches it at the exact same time until it finishes. Due to this, it is possible to see the length of the video using various tools. One of these ways includes searching video URL into Google.
Using this method, GTA 6 trailer clocking in at 1 minute and 31 seconds long. The length for the GTA 6 trailer will include a likely ESRB warning intro slate.
This is the longest of any previous reveal trailer by Rockstar Games. For comparison, GTA V’s was 1 minute 25 seconds, Red Dead Redemption 2’s was 1:09 and GTA IV’s was 1:03. It ties with Red Dead Redemption 1’s reveal trailer.

Rockstar disables live chat
Another thing Rockstar have done is enabled Live Commentary mode for the live chat meaning only they can talk in the live chat and no viewers. On Monday at 8:58am ET, the company wrote Watch Trailer 1: Tuesday, December 5 at 9AM ET in the chat.
YouTube promotes GTA 6 trailer with custom URL
In a Tweet, YouTube said “head to the official Rockstar Games channel to join the countdown” along with this link https://yt.be/trailer1. This is a custom link to shorten the URL on social media.
