A new GTA Online trailer, which seemingly teases fans about GTA 6, has been released by Rockstar Games. The trailer’s rollout has also been a little strange which has confused fans.
First spotted by a fan on Twitter (currently known as X), Rockstar Games have posted a new trailer titled “Experience Grand Theft Auto Online”. Currently, the trailer has only been posted to two of Rockstar’s regional YouTube channels: the UK & Ireland plus Australia & New Zealand channels. That’s it.
That was part of the confusion among fans. Furthermore, the trailer was uploaded twice to the UK & Ireland channel. Obviously a mistake but a rare mishap from Rockstar who are usually tidy.
The Trailer Contents
The trailer is one minute in length and features clips from the various GTA Online content updates. This ranges from The Chop Shop, Drug Wars to Arena War and more. It also mentions the GTA$4,000,000 included with the the Career Builder on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and GTA V PC (Enhanced).
It is clear this trailer will be an advert to bring in new players to GTA Online; mostly those on current gen systems. The video has also been served as an advert on Twitter (Thanks Dash_GTA)
“Rise from street-level hustler to kingpin of your own empire in this dynamic and ever-evolving online. Get GTA$4,000,000 in the Career Builder to establish your criminal enterprise now.” – Trailer Description

GTA 6 Talk
The GTA 6 reference is the humorous part of this though. At the start of the trailer, Dr. Friedlander from the GTA V Story Mode and GTA Online Los Santos Drug Wars update has a spoken line. He says “I’m afraid our time isn’t up yet.” This is clearly Rockstar having a little fun with fans as the wait for GTA 6 continues. They’ve done this multiple times in the past such as with GTA VI Trailer 2 referencing leaks.
As we know, mansions are coming to GTA Online in a future update. As Rockstar say, time in GTA Online 1 is not up just yet. We’ll see what else Rockstar choose to say to us when we get the next GTA Online update; likely in December.
