The development team behind FiveM, Cfx.re, have announced a huge new update for FiveM and begun adding the Rockstar Games logo to their products and site. The Rockstar Games-owned group that makes the modified version of GTA Online released a new forum post on Monday. It revealed a major new milestone in the history of FiveM and RedM: the Cfx.re Portal.
It has been over a year since Rockstar Games acquired Cfx.re and all of its assets. The first anniversary was met with a look back at everything they’ve done so far with Rockstar but now there is something new to look forward to.
“We are thrilled to introduce the launch of our new hub for server owners and creators” reads the post from Cfx.re. An image showing text branding of the hub with the Rockstar Games logo on it was shared. Adding to this, the Rockstar Games logo can also be found next to the Cfx.re logo in the top left corner of the subsidiary’s site.
This shows Rockstar and Cfx.re are working closely together as they’ve been saying for over a year. You can the image they published for yourself below.
According to the developers at Cfx.re, feedback from server owners and the wider community led them to creating a brand new hub. It is a new and improved solution for rebuilding Keymaster which was done from scratch. Plus, the user experience for server and asset management has been streamlined. Also, Portal will lay “the foundations for additional features and functionality to make the player, creator, and server owner experience more seamless and intuitive.”
Updated Subscription Model And Pricing
Part of the change in backend management in Portal’s introduction is the end of Patreon usage. You’ll be able to manage your Cfx.re subscription, servers and assets directly in the new Portal.
Prices will remain the same per month but everything will be done through their new platform. That said, current users on Patreon will have see support until December 1st 2025 so a whole year. In some regions due to VAT/Tax, you’ll be a few cents better off with Portal per month.
