Its that time of year again, where everyone does their version of the game awards. Gamespot, Golden Joystick and The Game Awards have all released their reward results and Rockstar Games taking home multiple awards. It’s been 4 weeks since Red Dead Redemption 2 was No.1 on the UK charts. But for the week ending 15th December, Red Dead Redemption 2 managed to gain the number 1 place once again. With the Christmas period just around the corner, it’s no surprise that games will have a spike in sales over the next couple of weeks. Last week, Red Dead Redemption 2 sales were up 19%. Over the past year and half, Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games have really been cracking down on people who create and sell mods for GTA Online, especially mod menus. This all started in June 2017 when Open IV was taken down by Take Two Interactive. Back in August 2018, Take-Two Interactive filed a lawsuit against Jhonny Perez, from Florida. Towards the start of this year, The Ruby Lounge, a popular bar in Manchester, UK hosted an Unofficial Vice City party. Bringing Nostalgia back to people who attended.
