The first Red Dead Online community live stream has been dated for Friday, May 31st, 2019 at 5pm ET. It will take place on the Rockstar Games social media channels on Facebook, Twitch and YouTube. Rockstar Games has purchased and acquired Dhurva Interactive, an Indian art production studio which has credited work on “Sea of Thieves”, “Halo 5”, “Forza Horizon 3” and “PAYDAY 2”, the developer announced today. The studio was previously owned by the latter’s publisher, part-developer and creator Starbreeze Studios. Rockstar Games has dropped the recently reported counter-lawsuit against the real-life Pinkertons voluntarily, GameInformer has heard. The lawsuit originally was sent in response to a cease & desist letter given to Rockstar Games by the Pinkerton Agency for misrepresenting them in Red Dead Redemption 2. It’s likely that a settlement has been reached and therefore the lawsuit has been dropped. Take-Two will almost certainly donate the funds to charity, as it does with most lawsuit winnings. It’s a sad day for the Rockstar Games and Take-Two community especially today, as the founder of Rockstar Games parent company Take-Two Interactive Ryan Brant has passed away at age 49. He died on March 23, 2019, according to Gamasutra. Brant founded the company in 1993 and resigned after disability leave in 2006, and had a few controversies after – including being sentenced to 5 years of probation for backdating stock options in 2007, and being involved in the infamous Hot Coffee scandal. Red Dead Online’s next big update will be arriving this spring, confirms Rockstar Games. The company said in a blog post on Tuesday that it is working on pushing the update out soon to all Red Dead Online players. Here is a short summary: “Hostility increases will not apply within structured events such as Free Roam Events, Free Roam Missions, Showdowns and Races. Sony have announced an upcoming weekend where players who do not own a PlayStation Plus subscription can still login and play their favourite multiplayer modes of games they currently own. These games include Grand Theft Auto (V) Online and Red Dead (Redemption 2) Online. Other games include Monster Hunter World, FIFA 19, PES 2019 and Battlefield V.
