You can pre-load Red Dead Redemption 2 starting this Friday, October 19 at 12AM ET. Rockstar Games announced this news alongside the announcement of the final trailer prior to the actual release of Red Dead Redemption 2, which you can watch tomorrow at 10AM ET.

According to leaked packaging from Japan, Red Dead Redemption 2 will require 2 discs on PS4 to install the game. We recently found out that the game would be 88-89GB in file size on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, however we had no idea if that meant the release of two discs with the game for physical purchasers. It looks like Red Dead Redemption 2’s soundtrack is already gonna be amazing. We’ve heard the songs from the trailers – especially the score for Trailer 3 – but now we get pure uninterrupted music. A user on GTAForums.com by the name of Se7en-Rus has extracted a Red Dead Redemption 2 theme off of PSN and leaked the Dashboard Music. Obviously, this song is going to be directly from the Red Dead Redemption 2 soundtrack – and it sounds absolutely glorious. You can take a listen here.
The official file sizes for Red Dead Redemption 2 on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have been revealed, and they are pretty close to one another. Yesterday, Xbox Store updated with an estimated file size of 88.57GB at launch. Today, PlayStation Store updated to show an estimated file size of 89.2GB at launch. According to ScreenDaily, independent filmmakers are currently shooting a documentary which will tackle the development and creation of the world’s most popular entertainment product – Grand Theft Auto V. The documentary, which will be titled The Billion Dollar Game, is currently scheduled to appear to possible buyers at next month’s American Film Market.
