The Rockstar Games Launcher is not everyone’s best friend but the new update published late on Tuesday should hopefully reduce friction between players and the application. Red Dead’s History: A Video Game, an Obsession, and America’s Violent Past, the book that looks at how the game weaves real history into the in-game world has a new release. Written by Tore C. Olsson, Red Dead’s History was first published as a hardback book and ebook in 2024. Alongside it, an audiobook version narrated by Arthur Morgan himself Roger Clark was also released. Rockstar Games’ FiveM just gained another close collaboration as the platform expands to GTA V Enhanced. Last week, the team behind FiveM, Cfx.re, released an asset conversion application for GTA V and FiveM. Titled Alchemist, the conversion tool for FiveM lets asset creators easily port over last gen content to the enhanced version of GTA V. Soon after, a new announcement was made. Red Dead Redemption 2’s iconic soundtrack has transcended the game itself. It has just been used as the walkout song for a wrestling world champion. On November 22nd, the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Full Gear pay-per-view event took place in Newark, New Jersey. The headliner of the event was a Steel Cage match for the AEW World Championship. Rockstar Games’ FiveM tools suite has just received a major addition. The team who developer the modding platform, Cfx.re, have unveiled and released an asset conversion application for GTA V and FiveM. Rockstar Games have released a new teaser trailer and screenshots of the purchasable mansions as part of the upcoming GTA Online update. The company also revealed the name of the new DLC. Whilst a release date was not given today, we already know, December 8th, based on what Rockstar said in the past as reported here.
