The Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer aka Trailer 3 has been released by Rockstar Games. It has been a whirlwind few days/weeks for fans with new screenshots of the game released plus details, marketing events and more.
The trailer is 90 seconds long and has been published to all of Rockstar Games’ social media channels as of 2pm BST on Thursday 15th October. No warning, just a shadowdrop. Rockstar confirms at the end of the trailer that it captured entirely in-game from a PlayStation 5 and not PS5 Pro. Grand Theft Auto VI’s release date, November 19th, was also reiterated.
The Launch Trailer, which will likely be the game’s final trailer, features new music from electronic duo Justice. They are the composers of the original score from Grand Theft Auto VI. This new standalone Justice single, “Flower in a Hurricane” features Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. It will be available on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the official soundtrack which is currently available to pre-save on all major music streaming services and up for pre-order on vinyl or CD here. You can see the single artwork below.
“Vice City, USA. Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”
