The upcoming GTA Online The Kortz Center Heist DLC is now available to download ahead of its official release on Tuesday July 14th. Much like how previous GTA Online updates could be pre-downloaded, Rockstar Games have done the same here with this summer’s big GTA Online update. The mansions update was not up for pre-load following leaks of previous updates.
Head to the updates section on your eligible console and The Kortz Center Heist Update download will appear. It will say pre-download. Upon the download completing, you’ll still be able to play GTA V and GTA Online as usual.
This update can only be downloaded on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. You can’t play the new update either. It is simply just to save you time so you can play as soon as the content goes live.

The GTA Online The Kortz Center Heist pre-load comes in at around 1.9GB on PS5 meanwhile on Xbox Series X|S it is 5.11GB.
This is the smallest update in terms of size in a few years. For example, Money Fronts was 3GB, Agents of Sabotage was 6GB and Bottom Dollar Bounties was 5.6GB on PS5. This could indicate a lack of new content compared to previous updates. That makes sense considering GTA 6 was supposed to have been released by now.
When Will The Kortz Center Heist Update Release?
As for PC, Xbox One and PS4 users, they’ll unfortunately have to wait until the official release of the DLC at 10am BST on July 14th to start downloading. We’ll cover their download sizes once they are available. PC players will get the update across Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Rockstar Games Launcher moments later. PlayStation lists the update as installable from 10am UK time on Tuesday, as we expected.
What Is A Pre-Load?
The first time a pre-load happened for a GTA Online update was in summer 2023 with the San Andreas Mercenaries update. This continued with The Chop Shop that December, Bottom Dollar Bounties in June last year and Agents of Sabotage in December 2024. All of four of these patches were able to be downloaded 48 hours early by PlayStation users.
This is the second time Rockstar Game have allowed the pre-download of an update ahead of release on Xbox. Microsoft began testing this feature over a year ago so it is nice to see Rockstar continue to use this option available to Xbox Series X|S players. However, PS4 and Xbox One has been excluded this time.

I got a pre-install of 2GB early this morning on PS5, to be completed at 10 a.m. on 14/7/26.
A lot of GTA Online glitches have shown up again this past week, like getting kicked out the front door of your nightclub when changing DJ—again, it’s back! I haven’t seen this one for a long time now but it’s back and Also, changing the server’s spawn locations spawned me back to a previous save, being sick in the toilets after a binge I had back in March on my birthday. Not great! It overwrote my saved game. There’s only ever been one saved game on my ps5, but somehow it managed to do this, this morning. Not sure what’s going on.
So much for every YouTuber saying there are loads of new vehicles, etc., coming with this DLC. If it’s this small of a download, lots have listened to them not to buy things durn the sales as new stuff is coming they will want to keep money for! Scammed 😆
