A wealth of new updates have been made to the GTA Online matchmaking tool known as Heist.Host.
We previously covered the community-built site back when it launched earlier this year. Since then, sizeable updates have been made to the service. These packed a wide range of quality of life improvements but also new features.
For those unaware, Heist.Host is a free web-based tool that simply lets you squad up to do all kinds of GTA Online jobs and removing the frustration of randomised matchmaking in-game. For example, want a group for The Criminal Mastermind Challenge? It has its own matchmaking pool. The website supports all platforms: PC, Xbox and PlayStation.
In the first post-launch update, big changes were made to the site’s design and players gained the ability to create their own own sessions or join existing ones, jobs can be followed on both the site and Discord and more. Following this, another update contained session moderation tools. Hosts of sessions can now kick, adjust available slots and more.
The most recent update to the site is a big one. There is now an Activity Wall where players can share tips, ask questions, discuss activities, and promote their sessions. A feedback system has been implemented so players can find helpful team mates. Upgrades have been made to the notification system too. You can be notified of things like matching sessions and GTA Online bonuses directly through the website’s push notifications or on Discord.
A major new feature is the ability to create a car purchase order. There is an LS Car Meet vehicle marketplace. This makes purchasing rarer cars much easier to do.
