Rockstar Games have released another background patch for GTA Online a month after the A Safehouse in the Hills update released. This patch is in response a variety of issues with many coming as part of this winter’s GTA Online DLC.
Background updates from Rockstar fix issues without the need of downloading an update. It is all handled server side. Rockstar put out a background update last month followed by a downloadable update for bug fixes. Now a second post-mansions-dlc patch is out and fans will be pleased to a see a god-mode glitch fixed.
Patch Notes
The recent background update details from January 7th come from the ever reliable community insider Tex2. He shared patch notes of the background update on Twitter. Below are all of the known changes:
- Fixes an issue that resulted in the player’s invincibility not disabling when set to OFF while testing Mission Creator content
- Fixes an issue that resulted in the player getting stuck when entering the mansion via the loading sequence from outside
- The voting screen is now skipped after completing the Hasta La Vista Adversary Mode (returns for Event Week Jan 8th-14th)
- The Richman Villa mansion decor is now changed from Los Santos Loft to San Andreas Coastal during the Mansion Raid Adversary Mode
- You will no longer pass out after getting off a sun lounger in the mansion upon consuming multiple shots
- The Mansion Personal Helicopter can no longer be stored in hangars
- Patches a “Mansion God Mode & Off-the-Radar” glitch
Furthermore, Tex says the profanity filter rules have been tweaked. It is less strict allowing for names of organisations such as “Bullet Club” to be used and not be reset.

GTA online should be able to have a girlfriend to if possible that they could do missions together or go out on the town and we should be able to invite the strippers to our Mansion
