Rockstar Games are set to expand the list of vehicles capable of using the recent drifting mechanics in the upcoming summer patch.
In the Event Week details sent out to community members on Wednesday evening, Rockstar Games teased this drift expansion coming as part of the Bottom Dollar Bounties update.
According to GTA Series who received the information, three cars are getting Drift Tuning in the update. GTA Series also believe the know which cars will be in the trio based on analysing the Bottom Dollar Bounties trailer.
The cars they think are involved are the Übermacht Cypher, Vulcar Nebula Turbo, and Übermacht Sentinel Classic. All three of these vehicles can be spotted drifting in the trailer for next week’s update.
List of drifting vehicles
These cars join the limited list of cars that can be used in Drift Races. Below is the full list of vehicles for Drift Races currently, without the speculative trio:
- Declasse Drift Yosemite
- Declasse Drift Tampa
- Annis Remus
- Annis Euros
- Karin Futo GTX
- Annis ZR350
- Dinka Jester RR
- Fathom FR36
These drift upgrades are not cheap so if you do want to upgrade the Cypher, Nebula Turbo, or Sentinel Classic, you better save some extra GTA Online cash.
