Rockstar Games issues update on special GTA Online event

Rockstar Games have issued a progress update for the on-going special GTA Online event.

Titled Simeon’s Employee of the Month Challenge, Rockstar set 7 days for fans to work together to try and achieve an exceptionally high target.

It started on November 9th and goes until November 15th. If the GTA Online community earns GTA$15 billion by exporting vehicles for Simeon in this time period, everyone will unlock a special livery for a brand new vehicle. The identity of the vehicle is unknown but will release in an update later this year.

    Progress is promising

Much like with previous community challenges, Rockstar Games have shared an update on how the community has been getting on.

In a post on their Twitter/X account on Monday night, the studio announced as of Sunday night, “just over GTA$10,500,000,000 worth of Export Requests have been delivered so far.”

According to community insider Tez2, the community might complete it today. Tez explains his maths:

If we assume all players delivered 60k cars, then that’s 175k Simeon cars sold over the past 4 days. 43k cars per day. The actual numbers are a bit higher. Likely ~200k Simeon cars total. 50k per day. At this rate, the challenge may be completed by tomorrow.

    Tez2

He also says “Even if we assume all players sold the least profitable cars, at the rate these cars are being sold at, we can still project the completion of the challenge by tomorrow.”

So be on the look out for another update from Rockstar Games on this event. Fans also hope they company gives them a glimpse of this unreleased vehicle and livery.
