Rockstar Games have reached out to a Red Dead Online player to tell him that Google Stadia players will be able to transfer their Online progress to a platform of choice.
3 Weeks ago, Google announced that the Stadia will be closing down completely on January 18th 2023. This left people wondering what was going to happen to peoples progress for Red Dead Online after a RDO player revealed he was going to lose 8000 hours worth of progress.
Rockstar Games reached out to that player via Twitter DMS telling him that all active Google Stadia players who have played Red Dead Online within 30 days of Google announcing the shutdown of the platform will be able to transfer all Online progress, including cash, gold Role XP and more to a platform of their choice as long as its linked to the same Social Club account. These platforms include, PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Rockstar Games have not revealed anything else regarding the transfer, including a date when transfers will begin, as soon as the transfer date has been announced, we will let you know.
