Images of physical Red Dead Redemption PS4 and Nintendo Switch copies have been shared online by retailers.
Rockstar Games announced this new port of Red Dead Redemption for these consoles this week. However, there is a staggered release of the digital and physical releases just like the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition.
The digital release date is Thursday 17th August on both the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eshop for $49.99 / £39.99. Meanwhile, the disc and cartridge versions are coming out on October 13th.

UK retailers have begun posting product listings and taking pre-orders for these physical copies. Below is the Nintendo Switch cartridge case via GAME.co.uk for £39.99.
We only have a front on shot for the Nintendo Switch version but the PS4 version has a front and angled shot.
As you can see, this artwork is the same as the original release on Xbox 360 and PS3 back in 2009. The only difference is the text at the top noting this copy includes the base game and Undead Nightmare DLC. No doubt collectors of this franchise will pick up a copy despite a lack of difference between the previous version.
It appears some retailers are already selling this re-release at a discount. Hit.co.uk have their pre-order price for both versions for £33.85.
