Red Dead Redemption is being re-released on PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, Android and Netflix. That’s based on Rockstar and Take-Two accidently publishing information a little bit earlier than they were supposed to.
Earlier on Thursday, we reported how Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption was age rated for the current generation of consoles. Since then, both Rockstar and Take-Two have accidentally dropped the ball by releasing screenshots and details ahead of their official announcements relating to more versions.
Mobile Pages Revealed
So, Red Dead Redemption is coming coming to iOS and Android via Netflix much like the GTA Trilogy almost did 2 years ago. How do we know this? Well, Apple App Store and Google Play Store pages for Red Dead Redemption NETFLIX have popped up.
The App Store page notes an expected release date of Thursday 4th December. This suggests a formal announcement will be coming shortly. You can pre-register by
These pages state an active Netflix membership is required to play and will come in at around 3.1GB in size. Plus, there is no multiplayer mode. These ports will strictly contain the main single player mode, Undead Nightmare expansion and Game of the Year Edition content.
Android Phone And Tablet Screenshots
Screenshots of the game running on Android smartphone and tablets can be found below. Click on the image to view it in full resolution.












As you can see from the images, touch controls have been made for these ports. The mini-map has also been moved in terms of location. Instead of being found in the bottom left, it has been relocated to the top right. This is due to touch controls taking up that space.
